Professional help for companion animals
I am a highly qualified pet behaviour counsellor and offer individual consults via veterinary referral for companion animal behaviour problems. I particularly enjoy working with families and their pets. I also offer one to one training sessions at hourly rates if you would like some basic training advice or advice about your new puppy or kitten.
I am a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) and chair of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). I am also an Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) registered practitioner (CAB).
I have a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and an MPhil in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Nottingham University and I am presently consulting as a companion animal behaviourist on the beautiful channel island of Jersey.
I am a contributing author in “The APBC Book of Companion Animal Behaviour” and have published a book on dog behaviour designed for dog owners called “Good Dog? Bad Dog?” I have also published several academic papers, have written numerous magazine and newspaper articles, appeared on national as well as local radio and local and national TV.

I have two teenage children, a rescue Pekinese cross called Thisbe, a lovely gypsy horse called Thistle, Riff Raff the Maine Coon cat, three chinchilla’s, seven chickens, two terrapins, a pond full of fish and a very understanding husband.
I am very proud to state that I do not use any forceful or abusive techniques when modifying an animals behaviour.
